In April I will have to go to the road traffic department to get new wheels and a rear spoiler checked and registred. I won't show up with the H-pipe but with the resonator. On this occasion I will take a video for a before/after comparison. Knowingly that these videos aren't capable of showing the real life experience. But anyway, it's gonna happen.

I just bought the H-pipe and the heavy duty clamps.
I actually like how the stock DH sounds , but I feel it deserves to be louder!
Plus, the other night I went out with the guys, they have heavily modified exhausts and said mine sounds very muffled😡
But I can't complain for a 2024 car😌

Anyeays, as soon as I'll install it I'll do a pre and post soundcheck.

Did Steeda sell you the reinforced collars ?

Unfortunately not, they only sells those on the US market and there's no option to ship them overseas. I had to buy them from an australian shop.

What about your H-pipe instead?

It's still in the box, so I'm counting on you to bring me some light.🤞😉

I'm going to move back to Europe and was thinking about buying the Steeda H-Pipe before going to Europe. What are the reinforced collars you are talking about? This might be a good reason for me to buy it while I'm still here instead of buying it when I'm in Europe.

These are just peace of mind for some consumers - that wanted the larger clamps but the ones that come with the Steeda H-Pipe are more than enough - we have sold 1000s of the H-Pipes with the standard clamps.

But here they are for reference:

https://www.steeda.com/steeda-60-9925-100-premium-heavy-duty-exhaust-coupler?setCurrencyId=1&sku=444 60-9925-100&gad_source=1&gbraid=0AAAAADtDFHN2IZuT0hfdpZP1OSHcE7T5y&gclid=Cj0KCQjwoNzABhDbARIsALfY8VPaKW-UYVHccq1Y7DDGvEFi9dBAn1QOrtDT-K8hpLqeupy8T6nIuBEaAtbfEALw_wcB
But unavailable for Steeda EU 🙁

The reason you want to use those instead of the "stock" ones?

Perfectible alignment: on my previous Mustang, the exhaust tailpipes weren't really horizontal over time, although the collars were tight.
So I have mixed confidence in the basic clamps.

I've found that it depends of where you cut the stock pipes, if you cut em at the "exact" length (not leaving much space), the join won't "bend" and they'll sit perfectly horizontal.

Maybe, but I don't want to live again with inclined exits, especially if other necklaces can minimize the effect.

I want to add that cutting the pipes to the very exact length is a one-try gamble and that dealing with repeatedly rotating mufflers sucks. The double walled clamps are a reliable and definite solution and worth the little extra cost.
