Exhaust upgrade

So Ford UK have confirmed that an H pipe would "void the warranty" as it is not an "approved Ford Part". Ford performance do not produce one (yet) in the UK.
I guess its down to each persons attitude to risk but with the warranty claims I had on the S500 im not risking it!!!! It can sit in the loft for 3 years LOL. Gutted - yes but hey ho!!

OK, duly noted. But also a official statement is completly different from what happens in practice. In my job (healthcare) I do quite a lot of things I could never oblige to beforehand in text.

Peace of mind for something that's in a grey area you don't get from a car manufacturer by email. That's not how it works.

Would the warranty only be voided for issues with the exhaust system or also for unrelated parts of the car?

Did it (Steeda H-Pipe) and NOW this is the sound I wanted: louder (you can deffo tell the difference, but it's not crazy), deeper, no raspy, and more bangs... i don't miss my Bullitt anymore (if it's about the sound at least...). With the valves closed, it's almost quieter as before. Perfect! I will live with the warranty troubles, but this is a first day mod for me, and for "cheap" (325€ with labor).

L'ho fatto (Steeda H-Pipe) e ORA questo è il suono che volevo: più forte (si nota sicuramente la differenza, ma non è pazzesco), più profondo, niente rauco e più scoppi... non mi manca più la mia Bullitt (almeno se si tratta del suono...). Con le valvole chiuse, è quasi più silenziosa di prima. Perfetto! Vivrò con i problemi di garanzia, ma questa è una modifica del primo giorno per me, e per "poco" (325€ con manodopera).

As usual.. i was so excited that I didn't made a F video! :°D ...now without having the "before" one, it would be hard to appreciate the difference, even if I made the "new sound" one.. :/

Those ones on internet aren't relevant either, because most of them are about the US version which sounds different than ours.

EDIT: wanted to add more details, despite the hi-rev sound is indeed louder (but it didn't changed in frequency), now while driving more calm with constant RPMs, there's that "low frequency burbling" that I had with the Bullitt (while the DH was almost silent before...), I like that part more than making more "noises".

In April I will have to go to my road traffic department to get new wheels and a rear spoiler checked and registred. I won't show up with the H-pipe but with the resonator. On this occasion I will take a video for a before/after comparison. Knowingly that these videos aren't capable of showing the real life experience.

I went skiing. One of the seats in the back folded down also is a great exhaust upgrade. At least for the inside.
