a weird little note about WAL: you can add the toggle for it in SYNC, but if you turn it on with FORScan, then turn it off in SYNC, you will need to turn it back on with FORScan. trying to turn it back on in SYNC will tell you that the feature is unavailable

yeah, i got the BCM update for job 1s, and it does go to 97

NOTE: I recalled I have my ford asbuild data, which I downloaded just in case.

Just to be sure it wasn't forscan I checked. My car ends at 726-96-01, then jumps to 727-01-01.

2024. Window sticker says 09 09 24, and my dealer took delivery first days of October. It's gotta be one of the last builds for 24?

i want to sanity check something here. i enabled "frost telltale" on my Mustang with FORScan, and this morning on the way to autocross i finally saw it in action. but im not sure if what i did actually enabled it or not. to those in colder climates, can you comment on whether or not you have seen this icon when its below 40F/4C?

Hmm. I may after the holidays, don't want to risk something untoward happening.

Seems weird to have such a late car not updated, and further, the dealer not updating prior to sell. But I'm sure it could happen.

I did not see that yesterday AM, and it was -15C. I've had lots of below 4C, and did not see it as well.

Although, come to think of it, most cars I've had don't warn BELOW a certain temp. Like if it's -15C, there's not much of a need for a warning.

I wonder -- is this country specific, or is it bcm1/2 specific?

Can you confirm... that AEB stays OFF forever when you turn it off?

gonna be totally honest here, i dont remember if i did say that or not. if i did, that was incorrect. according to page 251 of the 2024 Mustang Owner's Manual, pre-collision assist will only be deactivated for that key cycle
