I'll start...I enjoyed driving a base Panamera more than a 992.1 911 GT3.

I'm sorry, that's just weird. Or, you are looking for something in vehicles that just doesn't compute for me. Maybe you should try to find a hot minivan :) When ( and who owned) did you drive a GT3? Not something a dealer just lets you test drive. Was this a dream?

Panamera was obviously a used vehicle. The GT3 was at one of those track experience places. I didn't call my initial post a hot take for nothing, the reason I didn't enjoy the GT3 as much as I did the Panamera was because I got carsick during the part where they show drivers what driving at high speeds will feel like on the track. And me coming in with zero track experience prior...I think you can draw your own conclusions now.

I'm pretty sure they need to make an actual hot minivan available for the general public before I consider finding one. šŸ˜‰ (The Robovan doesn't count since I think that's supposed to be autonomous transportation...)

For me I got to drive the Porsche as a Christmas gift from daughter through Xtreme Xperience. A two car package. Drove the Porsche one way and a C8 on the return trip. I didn’t find the C8 as much fun to drive. My daughter was riding shotgun and loved every moment of it. She also got a me another experience at Wildhorse Pass. Drove a Nissan GT R. I just couldn’t catch the Pace Car, which happened to be a Shelby. The instructor commented how well I drove and asked if I had race experience. I told him it was a different kind of race experience. 28 years of chasing tail lights for the CHP.

The S2000 is the most over-rated sports car in history. Adjusted for inflation, it was $60k for a glorified Miata.

The difference between a 9 and a 10 is

a 9 thinks a jaguar is a really nice car, a 10 knows it’s a piece of junk.(old leykis bit)

I just got back from a local car show. There were lots of muscle cars and something that stood out to me was how easy you could probably get in and out of some of these two-door rides. Turns out I was wrong about the Gemera being the first to innovate in that regard (although I suppose it could be the first hypercar to give it a shot).

However, the actual hot take here would be that I'd love to see a two-door sedan get made for mass production here in the states. But I imagine it'll never happen due to safety regulations.

I recently drove a 2021 Tesla model 3 LR AWD that a relative bought for $21,000 and I was impressed. Note this version of the model 3 is not their Performance model but a mid level trim and it looks like plain vanilla car. However, it has 0-60mph in 3.7s, 1/4 mile in 12.0s and drives and handles better than many hot cars.

It does not have my Mustang feeling though, feels distant like a video game.

Glorified Miata? I think not! The Miata is rear wheel drive, and a way better vehicle in every respect. The only thing the S2000 could own up to, was a very high red line. Which it needed too just to keep up. Having driven one a couple of times, my take is.... It's simply a buzzy little Honda reminiscent of a Ka car!

The S2000 is also RWD, just FYI.

Absolutely on your choice! Trackhawk if we’re doing SUV’s but I don’t like Nopars!! My Wife has a Macan Turbo that’s a HOOT to drive sometimes.
