Aussie Number Plate Holders/Frames

I was actually thinking of not using a bracket and not drilling the bumper and then just using automotive 3M tape to stick the plate on. Currently leaning just going with slimline metal plates both front and back which means the front one can be bent ever so slightly to follow the bumper curve.
Am I overlooking something?

I also in same way of thinking , my only concern is the actual degree of bend you will have to deal with..
Is bumper about same as 550? That would give us an idea if tape will work on front bumber??
Any thoughts?

I'm just worried about that the bar where the plate goes is a little narrower than the S550 so the plate might stick out. Hopefully not.

Mine is a Dark Horse, manual, Blue Ember with Recaros - Currently sitting in Baltimore awaiting shipping. Cant wait!

Mine is already on a ship half way across pacific.. docks 12/9/24..

Oh great! You'll have yours before me and you can try those plates and let us know how it worked out. Those red taillights are awesome.

Its a shame Phil from Lakin passed away. I bought a few brackets / mounting options off him over the years, was a great guy. Not sure what I will do with my S650 but i dont mind how Herrods has screwed the plate straight into the bumper, it seems to work with a plate protector okay even with the bend.

Yeah good question. I mean the front bumper is definitely different between the GT and Dark horse. I'm just not sure about how different the license mounting area is. Might need to ask them via email to know for sure.
