Yea, those will add at least 30 HP and 20 lb ft of torque to your Mustang ...

Mostly appearance, but stuff like the wing and splitter have outside benefits to looking good.

Ive been involved with composite body and structural panels, both fiberglass and carbon fiber reinforced, for several decades. The use of carbon fiber reinforced materials keeps growing. The challenge is cost of course. To steal an old saying about speed...Weight reduction costs money, how light do you want to be?

What surprises me is that it still seems to be in style to use exposed weave carbon fiber as decoration. You see everything from real carbon fiber left exposed (clearcoat only) to fake interior trim overlays...and not just in cars, but in products where it makes zero functional sense.

Maybe it's partially because CF is what pays the bills for me, but I have been completely over exposed decorative CF parts for at least a decade...just F'n paint it already.

@Zengineer --right there with ya on the "paint it" sentiment! If I could afford them (I can't); CF wheels would be the only exception to that sentiment for me.

My feelings as well, I bend a little on interior parts was the UV exposure is less….but exterior. I have those painted 🤷🏼‍♂️
