Always use a good torque wrench when installing nuts and bolts. It's OK to use an impact if you know it's set to a lower torque amount than what the final number is, then finish by hand.

Agreed. Using the impact to spin off lugs is one thing but putting them back on I would prefer to avoid popping studs or worse. Spin a few threads and then tighten and torque by hand.

Without hesitation, get this from Harbor Freight.

I have used this set A LOT for several years with my Dewalt DCF891 (the MOST powerful mid-torque gun) without a single failure.

Lifetime warranty. Great price, even better if you wait for a coupon.
Boooooooooo, HF doesn't ship to Canada LOL

All good. I'll just need to find something comprable here in Canada.

Should be able to find something similar on amazon...
Yeah I've been watching reviews on the VEVOR 1/2" drive SAE and METRIC set that I was looking at before.

VEVOR 1/2" Drive Impact Socket Set, 65 Piece Socket Set SAE 3/8" to 1-1/4" and Metric 10-24mm, 6 Point Cr-V Alloy Steel for Auto Repair, Easy-to-Read Size Markings, Rugged Construction, Storage Case : Amazon.ca: Tools & Home Improvement

This guy put it through it's paces and couldn't break 'em so maybe they are a decent value for what my need would be.

@MCS, I have a handful of Vevor products, and I'm reasonably satisfied with all of them.

Maybe I am the crazy one, but I have never in my old ass life not used a torque wrench on my lugs.

And my lug nuts are 21mm or 13/16 torqued to 150 lbft

I have that as well. Probably did ... :)

They have a 14" cold cut saw (for steel/iron/aluminum/etc.) that I want. Great reviews and not a bad price.
