So, this past weekend at the Sturgis Mustang Rally, I saw a guy with these cool black chrome Mustang letters across his radiator cover.

Ended up finding them at Lethal Performance. Price is reasonable.
Shipping on the other hand is $53 for a $49 item that will most likely fit inside a small flat rate shipping box at the post office and ship for under $10.

No thanks, but at least now I know who makes them and bought them directly from UPR, on sale, and with free shipping.

And the moral of the story is: It pays to shop around, boys and girls.

I'm seeing this a lot lately. I think some/one of the shipping companies has something going on and is auto-generating absurd quotes that get pushed down through the commerce sites.

I had one where a $60 part added to the cart on one site was $450 shipping.... Another site where a $12 O-ring pack had $68 shipping, just unrealistic pricing.

Agree, shop around or give them a call to place the order so they can attempt to fix the shipping price first.

In their defense, they do ship free on orders over $199.
Definitely seems like they're trying to make up for it on the low end though.

I had a similar issue. I bought my car used and it was missing the styrofoam holder and the tire repair inflate kit and tow hook. The styrofoam holder shipping was insane from any Ford parts outlet, saved a ton of money buying one used off of eBay.

Lethal seems to charge for things like shipping insurance which makes it not worth buying anything there.

The insane price of Diesel has raised shipping costs of everything across the board. That being said, that shipping cost is flat out outrageous.

I've also noticed that here. Stupid shipping quotes 3 or 4 times what it really costs.
