Wheel Accent Stripes

Thinking about putting red (GT is Rapid Red) accent stripes on my gloss black summer wheels (around the circumference at the lip) before it's time for them to go back on my GT.

"If" I do it; I'm thinking of adhesive backed accent tape.

Anyone care to recommend a brand/link (something that sticks good and lasts), or suggest an alternative (e.g. painting them on),

I had that on my bike, I didn't mind it. Some people hated it. No idea why.
