Hill Start Assist cannot be found, anywhere.

As per signature: Australian RHD, GT, 6-SP, Segmentation 21-Jun-24, Gate Release 28-Jun-24.

The owners' manual in the vehicle suggests it should be there.

The Auto Hold seems to perform much the same thing.

Auto hold is a supersedes it and doesn't have a time limit like most hsa. On my car it can be a bit lazy to release so I've almost stalled it a few times even on flat ground.
The manual is known to have many errors that reference the gen 6 or features not on export cars.

Mine does the hill-start assist but I don't have an option for it in the settings. I'm not sure how it determines when to hold the brakes or not, there are a few gentle hills that I use where the car will roll back, but then others it holds fine.

And in case anybody is wondering, the brake lights stay lit until you start rolling forward regardless of your foot being on the brake or not.

the hill stop works automatically when you're uphill and will hold the car for a few seconds after releasing the break. The Auto Hold will hold the car until gas pedal is pressed, regardless of time. I set my favorite button as the Auto Hold so I can easily turn it on when I'm on a very steep street. The hill stop usually works good for everything but very steep.
