What did you do to your S650 Mustang today?? 🙋🏻‍♂️

I changed the oil on our new Mustang yesterday, as it had just over 1000 miles on it. 10 quarts of Mobil 1 synthetic and oil filter ran $73, as I got two 5-quart jugs at Walmart and the filter at AutoZone (Walmart didn't have any of the correct filters). Removing the underbody panel was ridiculous, and I ripped the heads off of the "Christmas tree" fasteners like everyone said happens. I have more on order that are supposed to be a better fit.

Oil drain plug and filter was easy to get to. Underbody panels cover all of the crossmembers, so I had to spend some time figuring out where to jack up the front of the car, ended up using a board to push up on the front crossmember and placing jackstands under the control arms. Oil life monitor was a 90%, so I reset it and we'll see how long it takes to get down to 10% or so.

I replaced those "Christmas tree" fasteners with the 2 piece removable type at first oil change... subsequent changes are a breeze!

not today but two weeks ago installed H-pipe with resonators it has deep tone and louder than stock but not too loud

Installed a steeda k-member/g-track brace yesterday on my 24 gt premium non performance pack. Not sure if it’s just a placebo or not lol, but it feels a lot tighter and better. Definitely recommend for anyone with a non performance pack car bc I think the pp has one already.

Actually been talking about that. No it doesn't have the oil cooler, it's a non-pp gt. I had it up to 241 at one point, it's a 10sp with a 3.55 gear, this was also while taking a bunch of twisties in high rpm, the video was very calm one i was just doing a recording of.

It tends to sit in the 230-240 range when really on it, manual shifting, higher rpms.

Nice ... that’s not a placebo at all. The non‑PP cars have noticeably more flex up front, so adding the Steeda K‑member/G‑Track brace tightens the whole front structure, and you feel it right away in turn‑in and mid‑corner stability.

And you’re right: the Performance Pack cars come with additional bracing from the factory, so the upgrade makes an even bigger difference on the non‑PP models. Solid choice and a great first mod for anyone looking to sharpen up the chassis.
