Put the Corsa H pipe in Tuesday while removing my Corsa X pipe that came with the full cat-back setup. Much prefer the sound, and decreased rasp of the H pipe over the X. Also had the rear windshield tint replaced under warranty at the same time
How did you get your rear window tint covered by warranty? I don't remember a tint option when I ordered mine?

Well at 500 Miles, still in break-in, I left the hardware store, put it in Sport and pulled out with some gusto. The RPM’s still kept climbing real quick and when I was hitting near 7,000 RPM, I realized I went one notch too far and was in manual mode And screaming in 1st gear.

DAMMIT!!!!!! 🤬🤬🤬

I was so pissed at myself I wanted to punch myself in the face.

I then realized if I have my thumb pressed on top the 10 speed auto shifter it can go all the way back to Manual mode. I made sure to remember to lift my thumb back up before shifting into Drive and that way the Manual mode is locked out.

Anyone else here ever done this? Or am I just the king of all dumbasses? If anyone feels like insulting me….good, I deserve it.

Fourth oil change. Had the same tech for four oil changes and three rear tires set replacements.

At my dealer the service manager only lets their shop forman work on my Dark Horse. He put on my Whipple steeda stop hop kit and new axles. and he does pristine work.

This was part of my reasoning I changed out my shifter. I would accidentally drop into manual mode because I rest my hand on top of the shifter. Now I got the billetworks shifter. Loveeeee it. Before that I removed the shifter cover plate and installed a little home made block that wouldn’t let me shift into manual mode either way. I have no use for it. I got the auto cuz I’m lazy now and do t wanna have to worry about shifting 🤣

Me too. Wondering why the bugger won't upshift. What a knob.

Well insomnia is a bitch…. But I sure do get productive after midnight 🤣🤣🤣

we got the catch can installed.

the aluminum coolant overflow tank installed.

the strut tower brace installed.

The Roush cold air intake installed.

I got the rtr chin splitter installed.

waiting on the under tray extension for the splitter.

have a dark horse style spoiler waiting to go on.

got the billetworks shifter and snagged a manual shifter cover plate. Gonna be a manual poser 🤣

I ordered a custom leather shift boot from redline. It’s just black perforated leather. To match the bit of black perforated leather on the steering wheel.

rear and side window louvers.

have ( but not on yet) the form lighting, smoked, for the side marker lights, rear reflectors, reverse light and 3rd brake light.

have the rtr grill…. But I’m on the fence on if I wanna paint it gloss black like the roof and the hood insert and the spoiler or not. Also might just be procrastinating cuz it’s gonna be a pain in the ass…. But I’ll never admit that.

That’s where we are currently.
I think a stop the hop kit from Steeda, some wheel spacers and street suspension kit from roush or steeda.

then maybe tune to tide me over until I get really drunk and buy the hellion turbo kit. Then maybe try to convince my wife she bought it on accident? Dunno… that part is still a work in progress.

It probably needs to be gloss...

When I did the louvers on my S650, I thought it would be smart to follow Ford's lead and go with matte black for the side louvers and gloss for the back window....because that's how they did the spoiler. Logical! Right?
Yeah...No. It took all of about point zero five seconds to figure out the side louvers needed to be gloss black as well!

You make a good argument for changing out the shifter. The replies have made me feel a little better. The stock shifter is a bad design. at least Manual mode should be maybe down and to the right like an L shaped gate.

Danish: You did ALL that in one night??!? Wow! and here I was sleeping like an unproductive jerk….lol.

I didn’t mean I did all that in one night… I was tired and the post went from what I did to everything I’ve done as I rambled 🤣

LASTNIGHT, I did the strut brace, coolant over flow tank, cold air intake, removed the carbon traps and messed around in FORScan and turned off the double honk on key leaving cabin, enabled walk away lock and turned on continuous gear display.

That’s still a lot!

FORscan sounds very useful. Is there any downsides to using FORscan??

I have another car with the "L" pattern for manual mode (move to left)... but can still pop it over if resting on it too hard.

The double honk can be disabled within the menu... "key detection" (I think it's called)... just so others know...

Besides you can royally fuck up your system if you don’t pay attention? Nah not really lol

Just be VERY diligent when making changes. Research others success and if you can’t find anything about someone making the change, just assume it can’t be done, don’t try new things. Leave that to the outgoing cats that understand the system better and know how to undo their mistakes. Also ALWAYS change 1 thing at a time and keep a record of what it was vs what you changed it to.

Aside from that, it offers a lot of useful things.
It’s nothing groundbreaking…. But it can upgrade the ownership experience a bit.

I have a compulsion to modify my stuff…. It’s like my brain just finds the word “stock” offensive 🤣
