Best: we still get an N/A V8, Ford bless.

Good: exterior looks better every time I see it.

Neutral: interior choices leave question marks.

Bad: no green paint options.

Worst: dumb tiered packaging means the above-GT trim [DH] is the only one with the right transmission, showing Ford won’t listen to one of the most common complaints/requests. Three generations in a row.

Best - I love the new nose on the GT (Dark Horse, not so much)

Worst - Ipad dash

There is no way that dash came out of any customer surveys, interviews, focus groups, whatever. Strictly bean-counter driven I suspect.

Best: the exterior (GT)
Worst: no AWD option, HVAC only accessible through the touchscreen (more of a learning curve annoyance than a dealbreaker)

I don't think there is anything wrong with the new car. It looks bad ass. The new dash will get some getting used to.

Maybe we need to add a category " Which feature do you miss".

1, HUD ist common these days and should have been an option for the 7th Gen.
2. For Automatic Transmission I would have welcomed if they introduced a " auto hold" button, so that when you are in front of a traffic light for example, you don't need to keep your foot on the brake as the car does that for you and keeps moving when hitting the throttle.

I know the second one is a nice to have but seriously, it is not that hard to install and all car manufacturers offer that these days. It is really convenient, especially if you drive in the city or are in traffic jams.

Maybe we need to add a cat

My wife has this on her Volvo XC60. I first I thought it was gimmicky as I was so used to using the brake pedal. But I got used to it pretty quickly when we were stuck in a major traffic jam.

I have warmed up considerably to the S650 since the reveal. Admittedly, my first impression of the instrument panel was negative. I could not accept the symmetrical twin cowl styling cues being gone.

My first reaction was it would be a dealbreaker, but I do see the advantage of it not being all integrated. If anything, it looks easier to replace than a fully integrated design which would require ripping apart the dash.

There is no aspect about the design that is really polarizing for me. It is commendable and very well done. The only thing that makes me cringe is the demonic horse head badge. 😟

Best: Exterior design. Especially the front end of the GT.

Worst: That dash and those screens. No physical buttons, no sale.

Good: Everything except...
Bad (fixable) - Give us the larger exhaust outlets from the Dark Horse on the GT

Best: Dark Horse edition with a real NA V-8 and manual transmission

Worst: Agree with Oppolock... no green color!

So what are you going to do when all new cars eventually switch to pure digital buttons?
I'm betting they all won't. Beyond that, I'll hang onto the vehicles I have as long as possible, with the hopes that touchscreen hell is a passing fad.
