I keep miles low for a few reasons

1. I only drive it when it’s perfect out, I believe I’ve only washed it 2 times since 2023

2. the car is flawless every time I pull it out, I’ll occasionally microfiber and wax it, inside/out
Daily’s tend to just get dirty, even if you wash it a lot you’ll get paint swirls etc… dirt and debris build up in the interior.

3. I go through cars pretty often, this is easily my 20th or more mustang, lower mileage and showroom condition make it far easier to sell and keep the value higher.

let the next guy enjoy it more… I hope he does.
I’ll be onto something different

Personally I don't see why you couldn't daily a Whipple car if you wanted to. The gas mileage isn't affected much if you drive normally. You will need a budget for rear tires.

The car won't make any more noise or drive weird. It's not like a centrifugal car where you have that open bypass valve most of the time going sssssssshhhhhh

They will do any car have on the lot (or you order) for a fixed price of like 10-11k

The way they come up with the special advertised price is with whatever discounts they want to offer.
I was watching some videos and they brought the wheels up as well, i’m sure ill find the answers when I need them but just to ask/clarify since im not the best at car knowledge, would the cars torque affect the rear wheels and wear them down a lot, requiring me to buy more of them? or is it just the wheels not being able to handle the power of the tq? or is it something else? just curious. thanks!

thats good to know, thank you

Tires, not wheels, you will be buying more of them and more expensive ones ($350-$450 each) in an attempt to put the power down. And possibly wider wheels so you can put a wider tire on than stock.

This is what I never understand..
You and me both. I can't wait for the day when I look at my car and say, "man, what a blast I've had with it, time for something else now". It's called, "fun".

Hey all, i’m curious as to what your opinions are on this build and what you would do differently. I’m wanting to get a new Mustang, originally I wanted a wrx, but I just couldn't get over the mustang so now i’ve made it my goal to save up for it next year. These are the options I want to build it with. For the paint I want to go with the Molten Magenta Metallic Tri-coat, and the opacity fade strip down the middle. The 401A package and also the Performance Package, I mainly want to get the PP because it comes with the drift brake and i’m not sure how one would go about adding that later on. The Magne ride dampening, and the AVE exhaust. I also want to whipple supercharge it for that 810hp. The car would be my daily, and I want to keep it for years on end, with the goal of taking it to the track here and there to take my dad out for a run. What do you guys think? i appreciate any insights. Thank you!
if you are thinking track days in terms of road course then get a Dark Horse and keep it NA….
Road racing a forced induction GT PP1 with no additional cooling mods not ideal …

if you are talking drag racing then you are headed in the right direction

Honestly, I would take a long hard look at your goals of buying the Mustang as described. We all dream on paper and then face reality. You are looking at a car that going to cost you a ton of money and will also cost you more when feeding the beast. If you are thinking long term, then you will soon be upset with having a very expensive car to drive. Have you checked the cost of car insurance? If you are young so many things change. Worry about job security. Are you married or single? What happens if your marital status changes. I see so many young guys get a super car and sell it a year or two later because they see the light when feeding the beast or they fall in love and need house or baby money.
You might want to consider a nice GT Premium with a few options. They are scary fast. I've had Shelby GT500's. They were an animal to drive, and, in most cases, I never used the power.
Just a few words of wisdom from an old guy who has been there and done that!!!

I think you'd have to be a fool to daily a car like you described.

If you want to daily it get a low spec premium gt for 46k-50k.

If you want to build a supercharged track car get a base GT and supercharge it. Put a real track suspension and wheels on it. You can do way better than the PP for way cheaper.

If you want to spend a ton of money on a track car you're also going to daily go ahead and try it but good luck. You better start with a pimped out dark horse and good luck keeping the engine alive past the warranty period. Not sure what kind of extended warranty you're going to get.
