Seen it on local news last night. (I seen it mentioned in a post but couldn’t find it to add to it.)

Anyway, these are bought new, and they say it cost $500 less than the Ford Explorers they use. When asked how they transport arrests, they said the arrested person can be transported in the passenger seat They also said if that doesn’t work for the situation, they will call for an Explorer to show up to transport the arrested person or people. So they need an Explorer anyway…lol.
But the claimed intent is to have something capable of high speed pursuit.

I think a lot of states are implementing them. I’ve seen past posts with other states mentioned. Virginia is supposedly trying one first with more in the ordering pipeline.

I wonder if they have the active exhaust? I bet probably not, or is active exhaust standard now?

Law enforcement agencies are challenged with many high speed pursuits. the addition of Mustang GTs to the line up will have positive results. Criminals will not be able to out run these vehicles. If they do, the police and always add a supercharger. I can't see a mustang doing a PIT maneuver, they will be able to keep up and communicate vital location and description details to the rest of the team.
