I am looking at a used 2025 GT Premium manual
It only has 1300 on the clock
Car fax has a report that a vibration was noted and the rear left drive shaft was replace
And wheels balanced
The car is for sale at a Ford Dealer and Gold Certified
The work was done at a different dealer
I cant find anything else on it so I dont know if this fixed the problem
or is this why it was traded in with such low mile , I guess I could test drive and get
up to highway speed
Looking for input was drive line vibrations a common problem on 2025

Depends on the price. I got my loaded GT convertible for $53k brand new. I’ve seen new GT Premium drop as low as $45k. How much are they asking for this used GT Premium?

46500 1300 miles manual 401A package Active valve exhaust
I was looking at a new 2025 same car 401a package active exhaust manual
with Ford and dealer incentives $49500 plus tax and dealer fee
I can save about $3500 on thhe used one Just a little concerned about the vibration that was
supposedly fixed

Yea that's what Im thinking That blemish on the car fax will follow it around forever
Can get a good finance rate on new I can pay cash if i want One of the incentives is you
need to finance through dealer
At 3,9 % probably worth it

$3500 is a nice hunk of change, but as you noted, you can get a better interest rate on a new car which would probably make up most of that over time.

However, if it were me, I'd drive the used one to see if I could feel or notice any vibration (there is a good chance that they fixed it) and if not, try to negotiate a better deal.

Some people (I'm guilty of this) flip cars quickly for a variety of reasons, none of which have to deal with a defect in the car. Some get discouraged when there's a problem, even if it got fixed. Some folks make spur-of-the-moment decisions they come to regret later when the bill becomes due.

Ask the dealer for an Oasis Report. That report captures all the warranty work that has been done since the car was new. It should offer additional insight, like customer and mechanic comments. CarFax listed the vibration. The Oasis might clarify the issue. And it could also list several other things. It depends.

My experience with CarFax is it is not entirely accurate. CarFax often piques interest on a topic, with further discovery required by other means.

Yes, take a test drive. In-town and highway. High and low-speed. Let the dealer know if they want to sell the car, you deserve an extended scrutineering.

It's not necessarily an issue. If you intend to hold the car for quite some time, the history will later show the event was a one-off and that was that.

As part of any negotiations, ask the dealer to throw in an extended warranty for free.

I have seen posts in here (or maybe 6G) about vibrations. Some spent many trips to the dealer and never solved it. Some got it resolved.
Personally, it would drive me nuts if I knew the car had that before then after driving it I noticed it. $3500 is a lot, but not if you end up hating your car (or yourself) for trying to save some money.
Most likely they still noticed it and dealer said Ford said it was normal; so they got rid it.
Sure, you could get it with a new one; but there at least you have lemon law as a fall back, or Ford’s buy back.
If you can swing the new one, get it.

1300 miles and someone is willing to take a bath on the depreciation is a sign there is something going on with the car and they traded it in to get out from under it.

I'm not taking the risk, too many nice cars, especially 2024's that have more features out there
