I did, sent them a picture with the hose kinked more than what I consider to be reasonable. They said that’s pretty much what it is given the tight space.Keep in mind that they could have shipped hoses of incorrect length. The can for my ecoboost came with a hose that seemed too short... pulled tight, no slack, had to clock the can way more than their photos showed. I contacted them, the hose was indeed too short, they sent a longer one right away. Moral of the story, if the fit doesn't look right, contact the mfg.
Why do you think if the pcv needs to be replaced you need to take off the valve cover? How did you come by this? Just curious?I had the same issue, but I also don’t think that’s a big deal.
What did bother me is the short hose from the can to pcv had to be very aggressively bent at the connnector to make it fit. Engines shakes as part of their normal operation, and I didn’t see enough slack to accommodate that since the catchcan is fixed in place. If the pcv connector gets damaged, replacing that requires valve cover removal (unlike gen3 coyotes which was much easier to replace). In the end, I took the UPR can off. I’m gonna put it on Facebook marketplace for like $100 to recoup my losses.

I just asked ChatGPT what the procedure is for Gen4 coyote pcv valve replacement. Said gen3 it was just a turnknob-like installation, gen4 has a platic piece that prevents that turn. Says some just break that black piece off and live with it, others who don’t wanna break it take the valve cover off.Why do you think if the pcv needs to be replaced you need to take off the valve cover? How did you come by this? Just curious?
