Does any member know how I can stop the Sirius XM displays from appearing in the center my instrument cluster? The trial has run out (I never used it). Now that the trial period is over, I keep seeing the Sirius XM 800 phone number or a message that says "Sirius XM Preview" dead center between the tach and the speedo. I spent some time today on the center display screen trying to do it in the Sirius app, but no dice. I saw the support 800 number in the app, but I'd prefer not to wait a long time on the phone if someone knows the way to end this easily. Any help is appreciated.

I would like the option to remove the application with the ability to reinstall it in the future.
Note, I do use Sirus XM

With FORScan, you can disable SDARS in this location in the APIM:

I suspect it's possible through Forscan, as I was able to edit (remove) data / display info from my center screen. Beyond my pay grade, but if one of the Forscan "brainiacs" would happen to stumble upon this thread, they might be able to waltz you through the program changes, and it would be reverseable.

Edit: see above LOL

I talked with the Sirius people on the phone number listed in the car for help/support. The agent said that after the trial period ends, there are promotions shown in the instrument cluster for a "few weeks". After that, they self-disappear for good. According to him, there is no way to remove them outside of the self-disappear feature. So, the wait begins....

2024 DH, yes satellite radio is by far useless in my car. when it was new, I programmed a few FM stations in the dash and since then no satellite radio stuff appears anywhere. I do not remember the steps, but it was simple enough and never showed its nasty face again.

Thank you! It's great to know there's at least one member that feels like I do! The Coyote V8 is my music. The 6-speed gear shifter is my row of radio buttons. The speakers are the twin exhaust pipes. "I don't need no stinkin' radio!" /;^)
