I was out "breaking in" my new 25 GT. Watching the AFR for several WOT pulls on the highway. And it consistently goes 10.0 rich at the top of 3rd and all the way into 4th (10R80). That's very rich.
My guess based on the gen 3 calibration is that its commanding .70 lambda for CAT enrichment. And no matter if i do the pulls when the car is cooler or when its completely heat soaked, I'm seeing this same behavior.
I did swap to e30 now and it feels more consistent but still going into cat enrichment. But it still needs to be gone through. I can limit the level of cat enrichment to something way more reasonable than 10.0, like we do on the gen 3 cars with cars. I wont get into specifics. But once we get tuning - (i'm hearing industry rumors), its GAME ON. I'm going to work over the fueling, push the spark a bit and set up the mother of all trans tunes like I did with the gen 3.
Cant wait for this to be tunable. It needs it bad.
