I ordered the Ford Performance Extreme Active Cat-Back System with 4" chrome tips (M5200-M5EC) a couple of weeks ago. Should be arriving at my dealer before long.

Has your exhaust been installed? I am on the fence between this option or with Borla exhaust. How loud is the extreme version? Please post pictures of the dark horse rear valance and 5" tips.

Yes, it was installed a couple of weeks ago. It's pretty loud. I'm deaf, so I run it in track mode most of the time. Love the way it pops and cracks when I downshift.

i wouldnt expect to see or hear anything about these exhausts until June or July based on what FP says about the carbon fiber parts for the FP800. Also for people with a GT wanting the 5" tips, youll probably want to get the $3000 version as that also comes with the DH rear valence otherwise the 5" wont fit according to FP.

OK. How was install of the valence on the GT bumper? As far as fit and finish of installation? Assuming bumper needed to be removed?

Could really use some help here from the forum, as this is my first Ford (and obviously first Mustang). Currently have active exhaust with Steeda H-pipe, and really have no issues with it (as I run it in track mode pretty much whole time). That said, I'm always interested in different looks/performance/loudness. That said, I'm trying to understand the difference between the following items, and have the following questions:

** FORD PERFORMANCE EXTREME ACTIVE AXLE-BACK W/ VALANCE - BLACK TIPS (2024+ MUSTANG GT) - M-5230-M5EBVA

** FORD PERFORMANCE EXTREME NON-ACTIVE AXLE-BACK W/ VALANCE - BLACK TIPS (2024+ MUSTANG GT) - M-5230-M5EBV

1. There are alternate options to these both in "sport". I'm assuming the Extreme version is the most aggressive and loud, correct? Would this be any different in loudness from my current stock active exhaust with h-pipe?

2. Given I work remote most the time, and don't start car too early in the mornings, I don't really have the need for the quiet mode. So if I go with the "non-active" option noted above, will that cause any issues or codes given I won't have the actuators plugged in? (TBH, I'd just go straight pipe if I didn't have to get inspection every year requiring mufflers).

3. Assuming, since these are noted for Mustang GT, the DH valence is specially made to work with the GT bumper (hence my question above about getting info on the installation of this).

4. Obviously this will change the look a lot with the 5" tips and DH valence.......just wondering if any performance pickup with an axle back setup like this paired with the H-pipe.
