Currently have a manual S650 PP without magnaride. Suspension upgrade in progress with Steeda dual rate springs, adjustable struts & shocks, camber plates and stop the hop. Purchased Apex EC7 ET40 19x10 wheels. Need help with selecting tires. Car is driven on weekends for backroad/canyon carving on dry days. Looking for the best performing tire to optimize the suspension changes.

I'd say Michellin Pilot Sport 4s or Continental Extreme Contact (Sport 2?)'s. Both are quite popular options for our cars. Personally I have been extremely happy with the Michellins.

I recently got new 19x10 wheels all around on my PP car. I went with Continental Extreme Contact Sport 02 in 275/40. I chose that size primarily because the rear is the same size as the stock PP so the speedometer didn't change, and the taller profile fills the wheel well better. However the Contis run a little narrower so I might switch to 285/35 next time.

Last weekend I took the car on a 1,200 mile trip with lots of twisty roads and the tires were great. I expected no less since I ran them in the past on my S550, including on the Tail of the Dragon.
