My first rotation at 5k. I got the opportunity to clean the Brembo calipers and the inside of the rims.
What I am wondering how to reset the sensor to the current postion. I went front to rear and rear to front. If I get a low tire now will show in the wrong postion?
Anyone have an info on this system.

The sensors will automatically relearn to their new corners. I stopped paying attention how long it takes because I rotate after every event I do, but I want to say it's usually within 20 minutes of driving. You can buy a cheap TPMS relearning tool if you want to do it immediately.

Thanks much. How do know when they are reset as all tires are the same psi.

Lol... have a little faith... you can let some air out or put some in on a couple of the tires to verify.

I usually run 2 psi more in my fronts than my rears so I see them flip

It doesn't work like that.

He's probably being pedantic about your rotation when you said you switched your tires front and back on the same side. It's not technically a rear wheel drive squared setup rotation, which is done by moving the rear tires straight to the front, and the front tires to the opposite side's back.

Not wanting to sound silly, but how does this work when the front and rear tyres have different widths?

You can only swap side to side. That's why most who do performance driving events prefer squared wheel setups.

My tires are the same size front and rear. So I should rotate left rear to right front and rear right rear to left front. I thought these were direction tires and only roll one direction. If not, I will correct the situation. I have not driven the car since I did the rotation". Thanks all.
