So i by accident got great deal, and im swaping my 24 ecoboost for used 24gt with pp active exhaust and nite pony package. They have around same mileage and same warranty left. Only thing is gt had this work done on it under warranty 8k miles ago. And because i dont know much about coyotes can someone tell me should i be concerned about this in the future. Thank youu !!!

This is the description of issue: VERIFIED CONCERN, ADDED DYE, RAN ENGINE, FOUND OIL LEAKING FROM VALVE COVER SEAL AROUND SPARK PLUG TUBE ON CYLINDER NUMBER TWO, LARGE GAP BETWEEN TUBE AND SEAL, REMOVED WIPER COWL AND BATTERY TRAY REMOVED IGNITION COILS REMOVED HIGH PRESSURE FUEL PUMP REMOVED VALVE COVER, REPLACED LEAKING SEALS AND RE ASSEMBLED WITH NEW GASKET, CLEANED RESIDUAL OIL BEST AS POSSIBLE, RE ASSEMBLED REMOVED COMPONENTS, RE TEST, VERIFIED LEAKS NO LONGER PRESENT. If I’m reading it correctly, sounds like a leaking valve cover gasket which was improperly installed or out of spec by the sound of it. If that’s all it was, and it has not returned after 8k miles, it should be fine. Has anyone checked it now to make sure the leak is still resolved?

Its says they did, and car was not in the service until now, so thats all good i think. Thank you!

An oil leak like that is not a major worry, and it's fixed. If you're worried, just keep an eye on it.

Just a seal is not an issue at compared to other/deeper oil leak issues that S650 V8's have experienced, such as bad valve guides or bad rings/cylinder surface. The bigger issue is taking anything off and putting it back on incorrectly. Sorry but dealer fixes have been spotty. The thing you don't know is how experienced the tech is on that platform or if the tech was having a good day or bad day (sometimes through no fault of their own, dealerships can be a toxic environment). We've all had good experiences and bad experiences. At least it should still be under warranty if that helps. If it were me, I'd check out everything above that fix, for starters, if the car has a strut brace and as you stated it is a "pp" so it should have, those are notorious for being reinstalled incorrectly as it needs new nuts, which if over-torqued can lead to snapped off welded in stud, so check for painted bolts (original welded stud) vs. a shiny bolt (indicates stud was compromised, drilled out and replaced with a bolt) on all four points of contact. It doesn't sound like the spark plug was removed, but if it was and reinstalled incorrectly, such as also being over torqued, which is bad since it's a steel screw going in to an aluminum head which can be easily stripped.

I will definitely take a look, thanks. It has powertrain warranty until march 2029 so that helps a lot

It’s these studs (highlighted) painted body color on top of the strut tower. Note the forward most on the right/passenger side has a wire strap covering most of the stud, but there should still be enough showing.

Yep i double checked, they are all body color, and dont look striped at all. So now we have cars in the same color!
