Out driving today I saw a sign like this... on the road next to it were the same markings that someone did in rubber! (No it wasn't me, lol).I wanted to turn around for a shot, but it's a narrow country road with no shoulder and traffic.

From July 2006 to July 2007 I was a Security Contractor in Afghanistan; assigned to a number of fortified camps around that third world paradise. In addition to guard towers, concertinas wire, anti ramming barriers and the like we wanted guard dogs (Dobermans or Shepards) for camp security. But..............................................fiscal constraints scotched that, so we went with the cheaper alternative of "Guard Cats".

You'll no doubt be shocked to know it took us more than one attempt to get the cat to pose with the 249.................................and there may have been some drinking involved.

I was just trying to get a shot of the beach with the one chair as I had it all to myself... just as I snapped, a canary flew thru at about 60mph.
