the first step would be seeing if anyone even makes an export to US job 2 adapter, which in theory should be fairly easy. but that's only a theory, there may be some unknown weirdness preventing it. there also might not be enough demand for such a product to really exist. but assuming you do find one and it works, the tail lights should work fine. again, though, some unknowns may cause issues. really, the big issue here is how many unknowns there are because a company would have to buy both an export and US job 2 model to test things properly, and that gets expensive very, very quicklyBig thank you to roket for the valuable information, I was going crazy trying to figure out what the hell did Ford do this time... I have an export-behaving taillight which means I have the second connector type causing the taillights to light up the bottom section in amber when the car signals or uses hazards, which in my opinion is pretty ugly, let alone the fact that it leaves that bottom part unlit when not in use while the rest of the taillight is lit up in red.
Now, the question is, how can I reasonably switch from the export to the US-Job2 behavior? And would aftermarket taillights such as the Form Lighting ones connect fine and work as desired (US-Job2)?
