Thanks, Roket, for your very helpful response... I have contacted Diode Dynamics and they don't seem to be planning to make an adapter anytime soon, unfortunately. I'm still wondering wether a thirdparty taillight would work such as the Form Lighting, but I just dunno if the pins would fit or not...

Big thank you to roket for the valuable information, I was going crazy trying to figure out what the hell did Ford do this time... I have an export-behaving taillight which means I have the second connector type causing the taillights to light up the bottom section in amber when the car signals...
