TCU cooked? Custom Mode Gone & Connected Vehicle Features unavailable

Anyone else have issues with the TCU? Been in storage a couple weeks, on a tender. Started up fine, voltage good 14.5, drove for a few tried to switch to custom mode, noticed the Custom Profile/Mode option is gone.

"Connected Vehicle Features Unavailable, please try again later " there are no up/down arrows in the top right of the screen seems the car is not getting a signal from the mother ship at Ford.

I rebooted the system, shut down restarted. Waited an hour tried again, same thing.

EDIT:
Went into FORScan to reset TCU, there was a DTC code for it. I reset TCU module and connectivity is back. Though I cleared the the code, it came back but connectivity is good now and custom modes are back..

It is God awful cold here, and even though garaged on a tender, could the cold still cause a voltage drop to cutoff TCU? I thought the it stays activated regardless.

Besides, take it to the dealer... Any ideas?

wait overnight. OTA updates don’t apparently go all at once. The last one I got came in one night. next day I get the notification by ford pass. Next drive, I see the update on the center screen notification. So far, so good. Next drive, my colors and alarm setting was reset, but custom mode still there this time. So it may be that the update takes place and modules restart asynchronously.

@JAM486HP ..... have you got a meter to check the output from your battery tender. So many of my friends have had problems with their vehicles while on tenders that I would look there first. If the continuous voltage checks out I would look for a surge.

Some tenders operate in a temperature range. Too cold or too hot ambient things can go south.

I'll test it tomorrow, last year it would hang around 14.7.

I have a Noco5, off their site reads" Avoids under-charging in cold weather down to -4F and avoids over-charging in hot weather up to 104F"... Lowest ambient temp in the garage was 20F

The voltage reading is stable, you are saying the tender might be sending a surge? Mine has an inline 10amp fuse, would think that would pop if there was a surge, even if it came from the outlet it's plugged into. That is a clean circuit direct from the main panel of the house. I have not experienced any electrical surges in the home.
