I've had mine on there for over 6 months now and havent noticed any flaking or anything. I havent had to take it on/off for any reason either though.

Paint pen confirmed.

How does this handle the heat? This tube can get hot. I tried the anchor room decals but I gave up on those. A paint pen seems like a good option.

The letters are vinyl. When I had the stage 1 tube, I did not have any issues with heat. I also ordered from Anchor.

I now run a CF tube that is for stage 2.

Paint pen could be an option but I would believe a steady hand and let the paint flow even would be very hard… take your time and several deep breaths the anchor room letters apply pretty easily… patience, and the ability to step away to take a break is key
