Mph was 125.6.

E.t. was 11.6

Those are way off.

In a perfect drag strip run (I know this was on a Trofeo RS tire on some service road, lol) 125.6 mph is a 4000 pound car at 533 wheel horsepower. The e.t. should be 11.4.
A "good" drag strip run for 125mph would be like a 10.7 or something. Don't want to use the word perfect. You have to start with something like a 1.6 60 foot time. There are Hellcat guys who have gone 10.8 @ 126, with the only mod being drag radials. You can run an 11.4 going only 116mph.

533 wheel horsepower means that the supercharger definitely added some power, but not what it should have added. At a minimum, that rating should start with a 7, or at least high six hundreds.
91 octane
Stage 1
Stock tires
Stock suspension

Edmund's is not a forum member who's been drag racing forever. Not fair to compare. If they had a stage 2, boostane, dragpack, driver mod....it would go a lot faster. Another 10mph minimum. And 10 second ET

Question - how many others are getting similar results but never know because they just pull it out on the roadway and hit the gas, and whoa! Lots more power, tires struggle for traction, hey, supercharging is cool! but never dyno or hit a real dragstrip to see the results.
Lots of people probably are. Heck I'm used to seeing supercharged 'show cars' that sound like they are going to die as the owner drives away. Not as common as today with how well the kits + supplied tune are, but more on the older Mustangs. Not to mention their crappy tires/suspension don't hook up.
Does it get faster as the untuned car "learns" the new supercharger?
No such thing

Do they say that on the video?
I don't think they said it specifically, but they are in Los Angeles and that's all you're going to get at the pump in Commiefornia

How much horsepower does that kill on the Stage 1?
A lot.

Remember VMP showed a supercharged S650 on 87 octane, it only made 567

Was pulling like 5 degrees of timing

Wow, I had not seen that video. What an experiment. 😬

I liked his comment, "I can't lie. I'm a little bit scared." 😆

87 octane in a boosted 12:1 engine . . .

567 was a fourth gear pull, so that can't really be compared to dyno pulls in another gear. But, wow, his comments on knock are scary.

Pull timing so the engine survives and it is still burning out the exhaust down into the catalytic converters, ouch. No win, but converters are cheaper than engines.

The first can of Boostane pull is in fifth gear. Timing added and then pulled back out, lot of lights on the dash, lol, still scary.

700 to the wheels in fifth gear once he got the Boostane all mixed in.

Where do you live?

It's like $21 a can

Are you looking at a case of it?
I deleted that post - sorry. I posted what I saw on the internet, and I think it must have been for a package of several cans. I did not intend to introduce confusion and false information
