Hi All,
Good evening! Just found this forum after lurking in the Mustang Discord/Subreddit for a while - hoping to solicit input from those more knowledgeable than me . Specifically, if anyone knows how small of a pulley I can safely run and not risk things going snap, crackle, pop? This will likely be the final upgrade before scheduling a tune once the weather cools off here in AZ (pulley swap and tune to take place at the same time). I do not track this car.
I do plan on using shell/chevron 91 octane and will be adding 32oz of torco accelerator to every tank, effectively reaching 95 octane.
Current dyno numbers with octane booster: 690 lowest / 705 highest
Current dyno numbers without octane booster: 651 lowest / 661 highest
Current mods:
I have some suspension work done (stop the hop kit, springs, struts, end links, sway bars), upgraded half-shafts, and a Roush limited edition Supercharger. I have a differential cooler, an engine oil cooler, and a metal transmission pan that adds a quart or two of capacity. Added 2 oil catch cans. I am still on a stock 2-piece driveshaft. Oh, and I am running 315 tires in the rear, 285’s in the front.
