Just noticed they put a horribly ugly dealership decal on the back of my car I just bought. It is huge, white and sticks out like a sore thumb. They should have to ask you before they do that.

I should have taken pictures of how bad it was. Thankfully a hair dryer and credit card took it off.

I had a manager sign no decals, widow etching, nitrogen, and all that other BS on my order form. I told them I'd advertise if I had a good experience. I didn't, so I didn't.

Yeah, that sucks, and I've even seen 3D chrome-like dealer labels put on cars. Many, many years ago one of my brothers was shopping for a car and the local dealership normally glued that type of dealer logo on it, and my brother told him to take it off. The salesmen said "That's just the way we sell them," and my brother said, "Not to me," and they took it off.

I always put it on the sales agreement that there will be no dealer ID of any kind on my car or I will walk away from the deal.

My dealership knows me well and when I pick up my Mustangs, they are unwashed, no dealer logos, all ford stickers still on it, no front license plate bracket, and the seats still wrapped in plastic. I do all that myself.
I do have the unused dealership decals so if a future owner wants one lol.

On vintage mustangs it is a big deal if the car has the original dealer logo on it.

Most dealers here use license plate frames rather than decals on the paint.

Here, the dealers actually have their own number plates done with their dealer logo embossed on the number plates, you cant remove it unless you get new plates issued !!

Most dealer decals take less than 10 min remove. I did it with my first wash. It's really not that big of a deal guys.

We only have plate surrounds. Easy to remove if the dealer annoys me.
