Well, I can rant about how good the brakes are (not on a track, but I have my own "tracks")... and my car is not a DH or GT... just an Eco with the HPP. The brake parts are all the same... with the exception of the front rotors. Whether there is bespoke (different) programming, I can't say. I think Ford spends more on bespoke marketing than bespoke programming though... and the DH HP tires may be the only "programming" difference. For reference, I have had a few cars with brembos... these however, are the largest yet.
I seriously doubt the ABS programing is different. Ive never seen or heard of that assertion anywhere before. Not to mention it seems highly unnecessary and expensive for Ford to do.

Agreed about Ford's marketing. I really think that has contributed to a lot of misinformation online. The "special tuning" was a subject of many debates about the Mach 1 until it was debunked. Unfortunately its carried over to the DH community.
