Start/Stop failure

Just turned a year old and 3k. Stop/start system still remains inoperative. So glad. And at sea level.

Lucky imo. I thought about turning mine off via Forscan today if possible, but didn't want to attempt that b/c I read someone else on the forums had an issue doing that.

Just rolled 15k km and it has never worked. Only ever get the engine on due to vehicle charging message when ever I check. I wish it did just so I can turn it off ? Taken it to the dealer 3 times for non related stuff and they keep telling me it will be updated over the air. Going to book my appointment for the BCM recall and mention the stop start issue again!

You cannot disable the A/SS with forscan. I tried it. No go.

It can be disabled permanently in less than a minute with no tools or use of any OBD device.

Now I only hit the start button and don't touch the A/SS button.

Never had the start stop do anything .... very thankful for that

Mine has worked after I took her to the dealership, they charged the battery through the night and it was working consistently. Then I didn't drive the car for 2 weeks and it stopped working again.
I don't know if it's a bug or just very poorly designed, maybe the battery threshold is very low.

I don't use regularly the start/stop feature (i mean never), but i note that when i lead flow air to windshield to unfogging, the start/stop is disable
