I went with a J&L on both sides.. Good product and does what it is made to do. Easy to install and they are very close to me so shipping was 1 day. I recommend at least the dirty side (passenger). I had a Ford Racing one in my s550 and it worked fine also but the price has gone insane for the dual setup for the s650 with supercharger

I have J&L too. I have been meaning to ask about clean vs dirty. On this one, the can is mounted on the left side and connection is to the right side cam cover and a point in between the throttle bodies. So I guess it’s a dirty side one. Don’t remember where I bought it from. Seems to work good. Has some small amount of oil in it every thousand or more miles.

Unintentionally, you'll hit the rev limiter numerous times with a SC, especially in 1st n 2nd gears. :)
Not so much if you're not just flooring it and doing a burnout. You're going to have to pedal it quite a bit in 1st/2nd

That’s a relief to know lol. I treat this car very well. I don’t just do burnouts. I plan on keeping the car a very long time. I do open it up every now and then depending on the setting but other than that it’s my weekend summer car.

That might change once you get a taste of the boosted engine!

Will do! Any in particular you recommend?
Sorry for the late response. Had to deal with some work issues today which is rare.

I went with the Ford Performance Oil Separators to keep things looking OEM. Other members have thrown out recommendations all of which will do the job. Avoid no name junk and you'll be fine!

Very true! Hooking up in 1st gear is all but impossible for me. For reference, I have the Torsen Diff. with 3.73's. Hooking in 2nd requires excellent throttle control. Also, I never use traction control - I shut it off completely including "advance trac". I gave it a try once after I installed the SC. TC works well in most scenarios. My take on TC with SC. It does keep the car hooked to the asphalt however it takes the easy path by neutering performance.

I think this is a good time to point out another hot topic I see discussed often. Everyone seems to suggest installing 4.10's 409's for better off the line performance. Maybe a good choice for N/A not a good choice for SC unless your combining it with a "drag pack". For most opting for 4.10's 4.09s on a SC equipped Mustang without a drag pack setup would be a horrible choice. Adding more gears to the "pedal fest" hurts performance.

Edit to above - This is what happens when posting while exhausted. I have a Mopar/Dodge equipped with 4.10's and that is apparently where my head was. Sorry for the confusion!

A little more insight in my case.

Mustang GT PP - Stock PP Pirellis + SC = Extreme pedal fest

Mustang GT PP w/wheel/tire upgrade + SC = Slightly reduced pedal fest.
Rear tires are - Nitto NT05 305/35/19 - Short life tire, much stickier than stock Pirellis. No chance I'd install 4.10's 409's and hurt performance.

Nothing is going to hook in first short of a real drag slick on a prepper surface

4.09's fix the the other gears though (3rd and 4th)

No worries. I’ll probably go this route. I like the oem look. Probably use my reward points from the install to purchase it. I’ll probably switch to amsoil also. I’ve been running mobil1 in it but I’m sure they’ll put motorcraft synthetic 5w50 in it with the install.

Will do! They told me they do a lot of whipple installs every year. I’ve heard nothing but good things about them. From what I’ve read stop the hop is definitely a good thing to have with a whipple. They’re installing that also. No I’ve never tracked my DH.
Any update?
