So I pulled the trigger and have my car at Lebanon waiting to have a whipple supercharger installed. Idk if I’m excited or nervous lol. It’s gonna be a different animal when I drive it again.

The performance after SC install is on another level. Don't forget to add a catch can on the dirty side (passenger side). The SC will 100% cause some oil blow by on the dirty side. You'll want to divert the blow by oil into a catch can vs. sending into the intake system. You can get away with dirty side only. If you drive it like you stole it all the time you should install a CC on the clean side too.

Let me know how the process goes for you. I live about 1 hr north of them and was thinking about getting mine done. Have you been to any tracks with your DH? Was thinking about steeda stop the hop basic kit with H pipe this year and SC next year.

Will do! They told me they do a lot of whipple installs every year. I’ve heard nothing but good things about them. From what I’ve read stop the hop is definitely a good thing to have with a whipple. They’re installing that also. No I’ve never tracked my DH.

I went with a J&L on both sides.. Good product and does what it is made to do. Easy to install and they are very close to me so shipping was 1 day. I recommend at least the dirty side (passenger). I had a Ford Racing one in my s550 and it worked fine also but the price has gone insane for the dual setup for the s650 with supercharger

What are they charging you out the door? Did they suggest any other upgrades with the Whipple like oil pump gears?

13k before tax just fir stage 1 and install though I think the price just went up a bit. Couldn’t do oil pump gears and keep warranty. He did say he hadn’t seen any come in with opg issues. Main thing I was told to avoid is banging on the rev limiter. I don’t do that anyways and I don’t plan on taking the car to the track. I may consider it once warranty is up. Upgrade wise they recommend the wider handling pack tires and stop the hop. Stock cat wise I was told to let the temps come back down after spirited driving before shutting the car off or pushing it hard again. Constant hard pulls will eventually kill them.

Unintentionally, you'll hit the rev limiter numerous times with a SC, especially in 1st n 2nd gears. :)
Lol that’s what I’m afraid of. I’m gonna take it easy to get the feel. Depending on how that goes will be the determining factor on what I’ll do regarding opgs.
