Sorry I’m a bit late. They installed Steeda stop the hop and the whipple. It went very well! Car is running great with no issues at all. It definitely feels complete. Drives and feels normal just as before but when it’s pushed it goes! These guys did great and even took pictures of the process.
Handling Package Dark Horse w/whipple help with something? Can you tell me what your tire circumference is according to the whipple tomahawk? I switched to 305/315/30zr19. Want to be as accurate as I can
I have a full used set of OEM Mustang wheels that came off a Dark Horse. One has a little chip in it as seen in the pics. The other 3 are in perfect condition. The factory part numbers are PR3Z1007U and PR3Z1007V. I’m asking $1000 or best offer. Serious inquiries only.

Definitely not just cut and dry. Set the correct circumference using the tomahawk and it still was a bit off. Had to set and test it a few times. Ended up having to go 120mm under to make it accurate.
All I want is to have this updated. It should’ve been done when the whipple was installed at the dealer but it wasn’t. Would take it back but it’s 3 hours away. What can I use to do this myself? Not sure if this can be done with Forscan on this gen.
No worries. I’ll probably go this route. I like the oem look. Probably use my reward points from the install to purchase it. I’ll probably switch to amsoil also. I’ve been running mobil1 in it but I’m sure they’ll put motorcraft synthetic 5w50 in it with the install.
That’s a relief to know lol. I treat this car very well. I don’t just do burnouts. I plan on keeping the car a very long time. I do open it up every now and then depending on the setting but other than that it’s my weekend summer car.
Lol that’s what I’m afraid of. I’m gonna take it easy to get the feel. Depending on how that goes will be the determining factor on what I’ll do regarding opgs.
13k before tax just fir stage 1 and install though I think the price just went up a bit. Couldn’t do oil pump gears and keep warranty. He did say he hadn’t seen any come in with opg issues. Main thing I was told to avoid is banging on the rev limiter. I don’t do that anyways and I don’t plan on...
Will do! They told me they do a lot of whipple installs every year. I’ve heard nothing but good things about them. From what I’ve read stop the hop is definitely a good thing to have with a whipple. They’re installing that also. No I’ve never tracked my DH.
So I pulled the trigger and have my car at Lebanon waiting to have a whipple supercharger installed. Idk if I’m excited or nervous lol. It’s gonna be a different animal when I drive it again.
Nice! I’m not hard on the car or anything. I’m sure I’ll push it every now and then but for the most part I’ll be driving it normally in the spring/summer on weekends. Hoping stock cats will be fine the next year or two. After that I’ll probably do the same.
I probably will at some point. I figured stage 1 is a good place for me to start. After a year or two go stage 2 with header upgrade. Maybe opg and sprocket upgrade along with it if it ends up being a known problem with gen4. I have a feeling it’ll be fine though like you said.
Here in a week my car will be going to have the whipple stage 1 installed along with a stop the hop kit. Everything else will remain oem. I’m not trying to break records or anything. Never redline or do hard launches. Just wanted some extra power under the hood for my weekend driver. Going by...
