I have a 22 GT and have ordered a 25DH and didn’t know if it will go over speed bumps as lots in my area! Can anyone answer?

'22 Mach 1 w/HP. Ford recommends not attempting to traverse areas that have a greater than 7-degree transition in grade. While you can, you'll most likely scrape (to varying degrees) the splitter or belly pan.

While the lip of the front splitter measures higher, I have 4.5 inches / 11.4 cm of clearance underneath the front of the car. Upon leaving the splitter, the belly pan flows lower.

I can't speak to the speed bumps in your area. In mine, it depends. For many of the older ones, I approach at a slow speed and go straight across. For ones which are higher, I approach at an angle and creep over. Some are uber-high; I avoid these all-together.

My driveway has a bit of an angle to it. I roll into it, the car stopping at the curb under its own weight. Then, I crawl up at an angle.

For "dips", signed and not signed, I idle into and out of those. 5-10 mph / 8-16 kmh as I go through.

My Eco-Boost is dead stock without any add-on spoilers. So far, I haven't damaged anything under the car. I hope it stays that way.

As a sidelight: My 2019 Ranger rides quieter with a whole lot less road noise than my 2024 Eco-Boost Mustang. In fact, if there was only one thing I don't like about it, is the excess of tire noise. Part of that is the Continental tires I believe. I've only owned one other set of them, and swore never again. Yet, mine came with them. Ugh!

you will scrap on the higher ones you can reduce or avoid it by hitting them at an angle people will think your retarded but its whats needed to not hit.
i have hit mine 4 times so far only 1 was avoidable didnt hit a ramp in a parking garage with enough angle.
i have DH with HP so the lowest one you can get
the non HP is about the same as a GT PP

I haven't encountered any issues with mine in the week and a half that I have had it. I drive into a navy base to go to work every day. The have speed bumps at the gate that are so long that your back wheels are coming up before your front wheels are coming off the backside. As long as you are going over them at an appropriate speed, you shouldn't have any issues.

If you have speed bumps or “traffic calming” devices around you, buy a Raptor.
You can take speed bumps at 65mph, the really steep, sharp ones at 45 mph.

So I’ve heard.

as for the MDH, find another way if you have the really steep ones nearby. Also, +1 @Skye
If it looks like you’re going to scrape, you probably will.

it really depends on the design of the speed bumps. i've encountered some that require an angled approach and going slow, and ones that i can go more than 50mph over. then again, i really dont care about the condition of my splitter because i know its gonna get all beat up

You will scratch in most areas, with a 24DH thats been my experience. I am almost considering removing the front splitter for the winter and add it back in summer.
For my drive way i have installed slow grade ramps that helps with the scratches.
Not just the speed bumps, any slope that is coming down to a flat area also you are likely to scratch.

Only thing that works is going slow and in an angle/sideways
