It's also often far more fun to "drive a slow car fast". My M3 and the New GT will run circles around my AP1 S2000, but it's still far more fun than either of them, especially on a winding road.We've owned a Miata and they're a VERY fun car in serious twisties. They'll run away from a lot of things on, say, The Dragon, or anywhere there are serious twisties. They're light weight, wide, and have good tires on them. Soft compound tires are about all that are available for them. In a drag race, no, not built for that.
