In above post, I could not see what vehicles EO applies too. Below show entire document which calls out 21-23 F150 and 2024 Mustangs GT & DH. Says tire size and gear changes only for user, and Ford will change tune for premium fuel use, but implies not letting user any adjustments to tune.

I don’t think this will help any other tuners get the code to start the car though since Ford is still in control.
I’m trying the Soler performance throttle controller for a few months while all this plays out.

Agreed. It’s the same as the Whipple.
Ford gave the code to Ford Performance and Whipple. Same with this conservative tune they will release one day maybe.
Everyone is wishing to get this code from Ford but is no closer unfortunately.

Just called FRPP and they have no knowledge of a Performance Calibration Kit yet. So the good news is that Ford has the intent to offer one and they have an approved EO. Now it looks like they have to actually come up with tune and kit HW. EO did call out upgraded tune for premium fuel. DH only requires 87 oct today, prior calibrations required 91 oct min.. Also, I would assume there would be changes to A10 programming like earlier calibrations. Prior calibrations didn't give much high rpm horsepower gains, but significant low end torque which is more noticeable on the street. Now it looks like there maybe light at the end of the tunnel!!!

1. that EO was signed in February

2. it gave us part numbers (not active numbers but does show they are working them)

Just installed the Soler performance throttle controller tonight… um, this is the same as a tune folks. I am telling you, night and day with my manual DH.
Soooo happy.
yea I know it doesn’t add hp.
I’ve had a heavily modified 15gt mgw manual with multiple tunes and a heavily modified 21 Mach 1 with multiple tunes and now a 24 DH which felt lethargic . Not anymore , different car now…

I'm just wanting a FP tune. Hopefully it comes soon - from posts above it sounds like it is.

Just 20 more hp/tq and a snappier feeling on the pedal would be great.

On my '14 GT I had installed the Steeda intake and tune - woke that shit up quite a bit. I really noticed the difference when I'd return it to stock for a smog check. Definitely worth the cost.

PS - Anybody wants the intake/tune? I need to get rid of it! That car is gone. lol!

I know how you can get 26 more hp, a much snappier throttle, and great exhaust sound too!
