So I’m curious as to why Ford doesn’t do the Performance Pack GT’s in convertible but Shelby can make it possible but for more money?? I’m not even sure if the PP GT’s, Shelby 350, 350R or 500’s come with a Sunroof. Thinking being not rigid enough for the power consumption (body flexing)is the reason not?

They do. Not the recent Mach 1, Dark Horse, GT350...but the Performance Package is available with a GT Convertible.

I just built a DH premium that matches my GT features + the DH handling pack. And it’s not 60k. So not really getting apple to apple goodies.

well yeah, you added the handling pack, nothing i mentioned in the 58k comparison was in that pack

Comparing the Highest spec GT with the lowest spec Dark horse, doesn’t seem like the right way to compare.

Anyway, to each his own opinion, but i still disagree that DH is a good money to value variant, they could have made it a useful version had they throw in a whipple or so.

Ok, I stand corrected then. I think that I remember with the S550’s that they didn’t offer those in Convertible or Sunroof options. Again … I could be terribly mistaken about this but it is good to know that you can get the PP with convertible.

I wouldn't have purchased it with a Whipple. I wanted NA handling.

Don't know and haven't had one in a Car of mines since my 91' Ford Escort GT in Ultra Blue Metallic (Paint code MM). Lmbo, why do I still know that??

The new diffuser is beautiful, one of the parts that looks cheap plastic on the stock GT.

I hope it’s offered soon as an after market mod.
