honestly, this looks pretty underwhelming. sure, you'll know its a shelby, but its gonna be on par or beat by a supercharged GT that is 1/3 of the price and has more customization options

My question is if Ford does come out with a Cobra sometime in the next year or so, what happens to the values of these since it's a GT with aftermarket parts thrown on it?

They’ll still maintain some value based on the name within that circle. It happened even when the FP Shelby products were sold. With all the interviews I see that’s what they count on anyways.

It still has a 'Shelby serial number' and will have an inflated value just like the Shelby GT's

They hold real well actually, the hole shot wide body models are still like 180k-220K.

but it’s also not a very “liquid” vehicle. Someone has to want 1 of these instead of a nice McLaren or Lamborghini.

Good to know. I've got a customer who was selected in the GTD lottery. It could be up to 3 years before he receives though. He ordered a Super Snake before he knew of the GTD result, and he's thinking about still purchasing it and running it until the GTD arrives. That was the reason for my question. The first 10 are to be earmarked for celebrities, he is supposed to be getting #11, but we won't know the serial # until it arrives.
