Haven't posted here much but thought I'd show this comparison for information purposes.

Bought a 2024 mustang gt premium 6 speed in March 2024. Quicky swapped wheels out and decided to work on exterior appearance. First stop was the wing, went with the RTR duckbill style spoiler. A+ really happy with it.

Went with the RTR front lip....great piece. Fitment was OEM. Super aggressive . After a month , really benign incline claimed a victim. My car isn't lowered so I was kind of shocked how easily the RTR lip shattered like glass. This isn't a knock on them just wasn't what I expected. Knowing I was going to lower the car eventually I went with the OEM performance package front lip. Pictures show the differences

Picked up the performance package lip from eBay based on another user on here recommendation.

Welcome! Nice GT! Sucks about your RTR lip man. Did you ever look into other lips? How do you like the PP lip? I went with the Air Design Lip

Feral Industries (if you trust 'em) also has an overpriced plastic lip that is similar in style to the OEM Performance Pack lip, just a little more aggressive/sticks out a little further. $500 for that strip of plastic. I'd just stick with the OEM PP lip that's easily attainable on eBay for $150.

Yup, I had the RTR lip for about 2 months before my wife pulled a bit too close to the curb while parking and it took a nice chunk off. Personally, I like the PP lip unless you go RTR all around.

So far so good. I think once I lower the car I'll like it more. I do feel much more confident in it holding up over time.

I love the PP lip... just a bit more aggressive than the non-PP one.

Man, that sucks! Did you have the under tray installed as well? I've got it on mine and I've scuffed across a couple different angles, no visible damage up top

I do not have the under tray. I was def surprised , the incline was not terrible and I had taken it many times before albeit it was before I had the lip on. I thought my wife would be the one that destroyed it parking it or something lol 🤣

Just hit it at a bad angle and bad luck. Again no knock on RTR this was 100% on me.
I'm happy with the PP lip and like I said I think it'll be more forgiving when I lower the car.

Edit: gorgeous car BTW

I specifically bought a manual transmission so the wifey couldn't drive it 😁😁😁. All damage will be my fault 🫥

Thank you!

i do actually have this one and it is tough and has taken a few hard shots wonderfull florida streets and steep driveway. It just has some minor scuffing on the bottom. Part wise its solid company wise Nope do not recommend. Its also way to expensive for what you get overall. Which is a shame because it rides that range between RTR's jay leno chin and the factory pp spoiler.

Were there any major issues or changes to the mounting when you added the PP splitter?

Nope! both the RTR and the PP Lip mounted using all existing OEM mounting points and hardware.

Nice looking ride, with the RTR lip, wheels, brembo red calipers, and looks like a larger side cladding piece and the spoiler. It all fits very well together. So often you’ll see an effort to personalize that may include some nice pieces, that individually look nice, but the total makeover look varys between not great to only a picture that the car owner could love.
