Exactly. I dont think there will be anything collectable about the 60th anniversary cars 5-10 years from now. I know they are more meaningful to certain people, but I dont think they will resale for much more than a niclely optioned GT in that time period. Especially with how ridiculously priced they were new. I do like the colors but they're just GTs with wheels and graphics. It would be totally different if they had done a performance upgrade like the 50th or the Bullitt. I personally think the only modern Mustang you can truly put in the collectable category is the GT350.

Someone local is selling a front splitter for Dark Horse for $50 (brand new) but was told that it wouldn't work on the GT

They are nice looking cars. If the price wasnt so high, I would have considered one. Last year my local dealer had a coupe in Wimbledon White for 65k.

We got a deal that made ordering equally equipped a 26 in Molten Magenta hard to pass up

Well, in fairness there were only 1964 50th LE anniversary cars produced.

Here you guys go- someone bought an S550 Anniversary Edition - kept it wrapped in the plastic it came in ......and after 11 years it sold for under sticker.........

So add in insurance - registration- sales tax when new.......

The S650 anniversary cars are awesome- I like the wheels especially.......but they are not really more collectible then a standard GT.....so get out there and drive them!
