So the Darkhorse has now been out for 3 years, and so far there has only been 1 Limited Edition model with the 60th Anniversary. Based on production numbers, base prices, and total production numbers of all Mustangs, which one of the 2 will carry a better selling price 5, 10, and 15 years from now?

It is all what someone is willing to pay.

How the car is kept, maintained, options, color, etc... Even then, these aren't going to be collector cars, so the reality is, it may swing 1K in your favor.... best case scenario... with the right buyer. Not enough for me to purchase a car that someone else would like better. Buy the car you want.

I think it'll be more valuable ... I believe there were only 1,965 60th anniversary Mustangs made, so it would be more rare and has the potential to become more valuable from a collectable standpoint if it's left stock, has low miles, is well maintained and has all service documented.

It's not something of interest to me but some die hard Mustang fan might really want it somewhere down the line. It's not something that I could get excited about but for the right buyer, maybe so.

Not looking to buy one, I own one. Just looking to what other people think 🤔

The 60th anniversary Mustangs were duds, nothing really unique except the wheels. Quite the let-down.

Thanks for setting me straight. Flash in the pan then. Sounds like it's right up there with the FX edition with the white nostrils and white wheels... Why would you.... I better duck because there's probably someone here with one who's really proud of theirs. My brother has a c8 with white wheels. He washes it and goes around the block and the wheels are dirty. 😂. But hey to each his own but not for me thanks.

I have a 2024 California Special, nothing white on it.

Are you including the Brittany Blue with a small production number of 146, plus the Factory production car?

I'm talking about this. Even the interior is boring.

Well out of the 1965 built 85-90% where Wimbledon White and out of them it seems like 60% were convertibles.
I myself got the email to purchase one of the Brittany Blue's

It's hard to predict what will or won't be more collectable or valuable in he future. To call the anniversary models "duds" is a bit harsh as after all it is a V8 powered Mustang, and that's plenty of fun. The interior is the upgraded interior, so it's not bare bones, but other than a different nameplate with serial number on it there was no difference that any other Stang with the 401A package. Not sure I would classify that as "boring" as then just about all S650 interiors must be boring too.

As others have said, to each their own, so enjoy the flavor you picked!

A few days ago, a life vest from the Titanic sold for ≈$900,000! The original cost was less than $2. The king of the hill of automobiles was (is) the Bugatti Type 57SC which fetched ≈$40 million a few years ago. The original cost was ≈$8,000. Mustang serial number 1, whose original sticker was $2,368, could fetch similar markup numbers. But we need to remember, conjecture and reality are never twins.

Nothing special about the 60th anniversary Mustang GT. Now the 50th anniversary, that was a beauty! Louvered rear passenger windows, the first time performance package was an option with an automatic, cashmere interior. The only downside to these vehicles or the poor fitting panels for a supposedly. hand assembled” car.”

I've considered trading for a 60th. In the past, all the BULLITS and Shelby's I've owned have held their value very well. Mach 1's are doing well. 50th Anniversary cars are in the $30K range. In my area there are two Anniversary cars on the lot. One is $60,565, reduced to $51,542, the other is $64,755 reduced to $56266. They have been on the lot for a while....
