Where the industry is now in the Mustang price range, manufacturers are killing off coupes for the sedan counterparts.

If anything Ford proved that they always find a way of making something that takes notice, the Maverick is a great example of that. Fathom should prove that as well.

All I’m gonna say is that I’ve been on the other end of looking at Ford launches. Where something like the SRT4s never really did anything, the Focus RS reaction literally boosted the hot hatch/commuter car segment. Even forced other companies to come back to the segment in certain markets.
I agree. There are a lot of times when Ford either invented or revived a segment, and I wanna see Ford get back to that. Personally, like I mentioned in another comment, I'd love to see them do more with the RS brand and their sporty small cars like they used to instead of making everything a bronco or mustang.

This rally racing inspired direction for Europe and this idea of offering affordable rally inspired models that they're working on is a good example of how they can keep leaning into these passion products without recycling the same 2 nameplates over and over.

The Fiesta based on the Renault 5 should be good but there’s a huge possibility that it could be a lukewarm attempt at “rally” inspiration for the other vehicles.

Ford just has so many legendary entries in each segment already, would love for them to utilize it.

Oh ya, an EV as a Baja 1000 car..... or King Of The Hammers

Let me know when one of those EV batteries fails because of the abuse it took going over terrain and the car goes up in flames on the course.

Farley is smoking crack.

Last week he was pimping another electric pickup truck like they didn't learn from the 19.5 BILLION dollar write down they took related to EV technology?

Now he wants to play Ricky Racer in the dirt with a Mustang?

Hey Jim, you have a platform for off road racing, it is called the Bronco

Agreed. It's all gonna come down to execution.
