Right, which is more than the current inflation rate of 3.1%.The gt went from $43k to 45k.
Ok and put that in terms of percentages and compare it to the CPI inflation increaseThe gt went from $43k to 45k.
Dude said that like it was an ownRight, which is more than the current inflation rate of 3.1%.
Haha, so it'd be over 44kDude said that like it was an own
So over 44k and not exactly 45k lmaoOk and put that in terms of percentages and compare it to the CPI inflation increase
Ah yes, let’s just laugh over a couple hundred dollars (potentially thousands after markup and dealership shenanigans) because someone pointed out the flaw in your logic. Oh must be nice to be rich and be able to make fun of the poor. I’m sure Ford appreciates your business and will give you access to the GTD as well as future access to any car. I will never understand people who bend over for huge corporations messing with the consumerHaha, so it'd be over 44kYou're honestly complaining over a few hundred bucks? Lol I got my 2024 loaded get with performance package, nite pony, active exhaust, and MagneRide. Ford isn't going to lower it for you so I don't know what to tell you. Go find a cheaper car I guess.
Look up the US inflation rates. I've already done it and I'm not doing it again for you. It was 6.5% in 2022.You're out of your mind if you think inflation is only 6 percent. I went to 2018 because you were comparing the Corvette and Mustang and that's when they both had the last model.
MSRP doesn't include destination etc in any vehicle. So add two thousand to every vehicle.
I don't know what to tell you, Ford isn't going to lower the price for you. I got mine and I'm extremely happy. If you want a different car, by all means go purchase that vehicle.
I'm definitely not making fun of people who aren't well off, but to complain about a few hundred dollars on a $45k vehicle is ridiculous. If you finance that over five years you're talking a few bucks a month.Ah yes, let’s just laugh over a couple hundred dollars (potentially thousands after markup and dealership shenanigans) because someone pointed out the flaw in your logic. This mustang1987 dude is a complete corpo shill. If the Mustang went to 200k he would buy it still. There’s no point in arguing with someone who would defend price increases for no reason simply because it’s the only option.Look up the US inflation rates. I've already done it and I'm not doing it again for you. It was 6.5% in 2022.
Destination charge on a 2018 was $900. The 2025 Mustang has a $1600 destination charge AND a $700 acquistion fee.
I realize that Ford isn't going to lower the price, and as a result I won't be buying one barring finding the spec I want on a dealer lot at a substantial discount. Ford has 100% lost a sale due to the 2025 price increase. Removing content (wireless charging) and increasing your prices usually isn't a smart business strategy. I'm glad you're happy with your car, I really am. I want more people to feel the same way, but as I said, I don't think the large increases in prices is going to work out well for them.
And how much more does it cost for 2025? That's the main issue, not the base price. Nobody buys a no option car.Haha, so it'd be over 44kYou're honestly complaining over a few hundred bucks? Finance it after tax and dealership add ons as well as a 7+% finance rate and tell people that is a totally ok thing to do. The dissonance of financial reality between some people has always been crazy to me, but to see it play out in real time has been mind blowing.I'm definitely not making fun of people who aren't well off, but to complain about a few hundred dollars on a $45k vehicle is ridiculous. If you finance that over five years you're talking a few bucks a month.
Every car has gone up. The explorer in 2022 was $35k and now it's almost $40k. The mustang has gone up $6k since then and it's been a new model.Look up the US inflation rates. I've already done it and I'm not doing it again for you. It was 6.5% in 2022.

Huh, I don’t think anyone said the price should stay the same lol. We have just been saying it should stay the same with inflation. And if it’s higher, it should have more options or a reason to be higher. Ford literally took away options and made packages more expensive. And you’re sitting and typing saying how that’s justified. Blows the mind really. For 2026 if they only offered black, white, and grey and made all packages 10k, I wouldn’t be surprised if you said wow that’s a good dealEvery car has gone up. The explorer in 2022 was $35k and now it's almost $40k. The mustang has gone up $6k since then and it's been a new model.
If you're not happy with it, then go buy a different vehicle. Its that simple. But no, when a new model from any vehicle comes out, it's going to be more than the last model.
No kidding, I'm well aware of that. I'm not arguing that the cost should stay the same. Go look at the other thread or two on the 25 and you'll see a ton of people talking about the size of the price increase this year. What we're saying is the price increase for 25 is incredibly high given the fact that it's the same car. Again, how much more does your car cost this year? As it has options on it, the price increase is likely similar to the GT I specced out, and the price increase was literally more than double the current inflation rate. If you think that's good for the brand, then I don't know what to tell you.Every car has gone up. The explorer in 2022 was $35k and now it's almost $40k. The mustang has gone up $6k since then and it's been a new model.
