I just got a funny start up chime myself, nothing like the heartbeat or ford chime.

Haven’t been able to recreate it, but it might be the unrecognized key chime.

I'm 95% certain that means the battery charge is low.

Finally was able to get the startup sound on camera. I haven’t gotten a low battery charge sound before so I’m not sure if this is what it is or not.

Don’t mind the radar, that’s not the sound I’m talking about 😅

That sounds aftermarket - or a gerbil trapped in the dashboard

Definitely not aftermarket, the stangs bone stock

It plays through the speaker system so I’m assuming it’s a chime/warning, but I haven’t figured out what it’s for

I have no idea what the heck that is. Never heard it before in my life, and it doesn't sound good. 😬

That sounds like a horrible electronics glitch of some sort. If that sound came out of my mustang, I would take it to the dealer immediately.

That is most certainly NOT was I was referring to as a low battery warning

My heart beat would always come on when I got in my DH along with unique dash display. It went away after last software update. Only time I can routinely get it back is to press the on/off button a couple times before starting. So its still there, just not when getting in car
Personally, I want it back.

I assume this sound is what we are trying to talk about. I could do without it.

I don't get the sounds any more. I told them in their feedback function that comes up now and then that I don't like it and it went away. Any correlation to that, I don't know. It's just gone now and I'm happy about it.

So I haven't driving my car in a couple of days and per the Ford App. it went into "Battery Saving Mode" with remote features disabled. So I took the car out today and sure enough the standard boot up sound was a chime instead of the bongos. Drove around for a while and all subsequent starts had the bongo sound so at least for my car, if you hear the chimes, it might be because you are in "Battery Saver Mode" or of course after a software update where anything is possible.

Since I had my battery replaced in November, I no longer get the periodic chime instead of the heartbeat. Its definitely a low battery thing.
