Purchased a 60th Anniversity Edition a couple of weeks ago. It's my 4th S550/650 Mustang in the last 8 years. Love the cars hate the quality. So far in 2 weeks here are my issues.

1. Drivers door has a creak or snapping noise when I open it all the way.
2. Rear parcel shelf is sticky or tacky when I touch it. Must be from it sitting in a lot for a few months in the hot FL sun.
3. When I open the trunk it too makes a snapping noise when I open it. Panel gap and alignment not the best.
4. Driver seat creaks. Two of my other Mustangs did the exact same thing. Crazy
5. Rattle coming from somewhere behind the drivers seat.

On one positive note it is the best painted unit I have had by far. Big improvement. Mine is Wimbelton White.

Just wish I could buy a Mustang and not have any quality issues. BUT ITS NOT GOING TO STOP ME FROM OWNING ONE ANYWAY.

That's what the warranty is for. Sounds like more minor annoyances than major problems. Agree they shouldn't be there, but that's why the warranty exists. I'm sure they can fix those problems, and get you feeling warm and fuzzy about your anniversary edition again. Love Wimbledon White! Nice choice!

yeah, WTF is up with the sticky rear package tray?

I went to clean it off (looked dusty) and it's stickey - all the cloth fibers and dust just adhere.

Weird.

Other than that - I think the quality of my '25 is pretty good.

I too thought I could suck it up, but I think I'm going to switch to another platform.

'24 Ecoboost - many problems including engine coolant leak, defective axle.
'25 GT - less rattles than '24, but 10R80 transmission problems and engine randomly died for no reason once while driving (electrical?).

What's that saying... Fool me once... fool me twice...

Warranty is almost unclaimable for me. I'm single, no family within 2000 miles, 1 car. Take it in to dealership, even with scheduled appointment, and they say they need several weeks to diagnose, no loaner car before diagnosis. So I have to foot the bill for 2-3 weeks of a rental ($750?). $750 each time I need a basic defect looked into? It's essentially a way Ford can weasel out of honoring their warranty if they make it impossible or impractical for you to make use of it

Geez Louise, my dealer gives me a loaner every time It's been in there which is only twice in 3300 miles. One was an oil change at 1000ish miles for break-in which they said wasn't needed but gave me a car anyway and the other was to replace a dinged rear plastic facia damaged in delivery.

You need a new dealer but easier said than done. For my oil change, I bought my oil and filter on Amazon and they didn't object. Total cost less oil and filter for the dealer change was $35.00. The 5000 mile oil change will include a tire rotation for $25. They will schedule it for an 8:00am time and do it right then and there....while I watch if I want. They are always sending me questionaires on service, you name it. I hate you put up with this crap.

If you want the best quaity, it's a Toyota but my local dealer sucks and I gave them a bad Google review. They begged me not to do that, but ask and ye shall receive. I got rid of a perfectly good Toyota due to a bad dealer. Cars are the biggest liability most people invest in. My Mustang will go if it turns into a problem.

I roll down my windows and push down the gas pedal all the way if quality issues ever start to annoy me lol
I was going to post that I put the top down, actually it's almost never up, and crank the sound system, so I never hear and creaks or groans.

Ford is hard at work reducing recalls by shifting to EV’s …. So there’s that.
