I've seen and read wonderful things about the Whipple. Maybe someone can comment on the Procharger.

I ordered the ProCharger kit from Beefcake and excited to get it. Hopefully they start shipping in the next few weeks. As of now, I don’t believe anyone has received their kit with ProCharger. I would guess a stage 2 Whipple probably a little faster than a ProCharger but the power delivery and sound of a Centri blower is what I really wanted. It’s got quite a bit more boost over the previous s550 kit as well.

whipple is the correct answer. no "boost varies with RPM" weirdness, more power, the power is more consistent, you get a warranty, no waiting for tuning to be unlocked

some of this is the same for ProCharger. They have tuning and kits are shipping with it. They have an option to vehicle warranty like Whipple.

I have experience with procharger on a gen 1 coyote. Both will give you more than enough power but I find the procharger makes cooler noises if that matters. Also offers a more exciting driving experience.

100% as dumb as it sounds, even if Whipple make 50 more hp, the fact the blower is so quiet kind of killed it for me. I'm not a hardcore track junkie that wants every possible hp tho.

Not dumb at all in my opinion. Its not like we are being paid to race these cars and need every bit of power we can get.

I would rather get cool noises and power compared to just power.

What I like about the Pro-Charger option is that you keep the strut tower brace.

When I had my 2006 with the V6 I had the Xcharger on it and a friend had the Pro-Charger on his. Both of us had convertibles so similar cars. At the drag strip what I liked with the roots style was I had the advantage off the line because of the low end torque - but he had the advantage at the top end because the Pro-Charger keeps building power while a roots type will top out; so around the 1/8 he was catching me and still building power. With the Whipple I believe you have the same thing, lots on the low end but the Pro-Charger likely builds more power on the top end.

I went with the Whipple and really happy with it. I got the black one so when you open the hood it looks stock and like it came with the car. Trust me you can drive around all day like normal then hit the go button and hang on. As for the sound they are pretty quiet compared to a Hell kitty and I like not advertising that I have a blower. Now on my 06 GT I'm leaning to a procharger so I can keep my shaker hood set up.

Ok ok well I’m not a track guy to be honest just want a better street experience and I really like the sounds of the ProCharger. So I might go that way.
