It's the windshield. And they won't cover it, unless it leaks again after they install a new one. Ask me how I know....

Lol. I see. You too are a man of culture! :)
Though, my replacement passed a water test. It failed during a torrential downpour.

Weather has been nice, so I pulled my car out of storage, got it washed and noticed a nice stream of water coming from the trim around the passenger door pull. Pretty sure it's coming in through the side mirror gasket. I'll let the dealer deal with it along with my very rattly ABS cover for the side airbag on the passenger seat.

Picking up my 2024 sadly they found water on passenger floorboard during PDI ? I’m assuming maybe the passenger window was cracked or left down by mistake? No water found anywhere else

What’s everyone’s thoughts?

I have them agreed to replace the entire carpet interior and matting and also to replace the passenger space grey Recarro just in case

The air boxes both dry, no water anywhere else, even tire rear trunk

It was delivered to Miami by rail and we had torrential rain the entire weekend

Might want to check your speakers in the door?
If there’s that much water in your car, the speakers and the door could’ve gotten wet and be damaged .

So I was reading NHTSA's reports on the 2024 Mustang and saw several complaints about water intrusion from the passenger side (one person filed a complaint for the rocks hitting the pinch welds due to the holes in the wheel liner, more people need to file for this).

This was a problem back in the 2005 release of the S197. Ford would put a gutter and plastic sheeting over the BCM which was in the passenger side front footwell (on the right side of the footwell) to help channel the water away. I had a co-worker tell me his wife parked his 06 Mustang in a parking garage underneath a drain spout. Even though everything was buttoned up, a heavy rain caused the drain spout to pour water over the top of the vehicle and the water found its way down the BCM area and flooded the inside of the car.
This was not a crack or damage to the vehicle that caused the leak, I believe it's a design issue that I thought was resolved with the later releases of the S197 and S550.

But it's "comforting" to know that D2C has had the same issue since MY2005.

Yikes.

At least on S197 Ford knew about the problem to the point they had a small gutter system and a plastic sheet over the BCM to help guide the water away. Rather than seal up the area they basically gave it a poncho.
